Hong Kong Government chooses Dynamic Progress biodiesel
In November 2011, local Hong Kong company Dynamic Progress International was awarded a 16-month contract for the supply of B5 biodiesel to various Hong Kong Government departments for an estimated total quantity of 3.533 million liters with effect from January 2012. The contract, commenced in January 2012, aims to take the lead in promoting a wider use of biodiesel in Hong Kong.
Managing Director of Dynamic Progress International, Wing On Yau comments ‘This is a significant milestone for the adoption of clean fuels in Hong Kong. We are delighted to participate in this landmark development for green fuels in Hong Kong. We sincerely hope that other diesel-users will take inspiration from the award of this contract for the use B5 biodiesel instead of regular diesel, and this pilot of biodiesel will help build the community’s trust in the fuel.’
